Friday Four- 2.23.24

Happy Friday! I feel like this week just flew by, and I’m in disbelief that March is just around the corner. Spring tends to move quickly in our house—three kids means so many activities. My daughter is graduating from high school in May, and I’m drying to delight in every moment with her and our family of five.

If you’re new here, the Friday Four is a weekly series where I share four things that brought me joy this week.

ONE: Fresh flowers. I love fresh flowers, and I keep them on my kitchen island all year. On Sunday, I snagged some $8 tulips from Costco. I buy these every year and love them because they last much longer than cut stems.

I’m also still loving this acrylic vase—a birthday gift from my sister. It’s 24” long and makes arranging flowers so easy.

Flowers are just one way to make your home feel special. A few weeks ago, I shared 5 Easy Ways to Refresh Your Home. Most of them are free, and definitely worth a peek.

TWO: Spring colors. We’ve had gorgeous weather in Dallas this week, and it has everyone itching for spring. I adore spring colors and especially, pastels.

THREE: Target swimwear. Last year, I ordered the cutest lavender suit from Target. The pucker texture is so good and reminds me of Hunza G—but for much, much less.

Target didn’t restock the lavender version this year, but they do have it in green. I also found more swimsuits in the same fabric, and they’re all on sale. For me, Target swimwear runs TTS, and I wear a small.

FOUR: Graduation gifts. My daughter has already received some super cute graduation gifts—monogrammed bags, a trash can (brilliant idea—a plain white trash can with a monogram decal), and packing bags. In our neighborhood, and I’m sure many others, kids start exchanging gifts early.

I’m a little behind the ball on this and would love your thoughts and ideas for fun, reasonably priced graduation gifts for seniors. Please share!! Leave a comment or DM me on Instagram.

That’s it for me. But, I’d love to hear from you—what brought you joy this week?
