Happy Friday, friends! We have a full weekend ahead. My son has an end-of-season basketball tournament tomorrow. Then, we have a dinner with friends and Super Bowl party on Sunday. I’m traveling for work next week, so will prep early for our Valentine’s dinner.
Before all of that, here are four things that brought me joy this week and might do the same for you.
ONE: How do you wash your sweaters? Years ago, I stopped dry cleaning mine because it was expensive and I hated the chemical smell. I’ve been handwashing them, but recently a friend shared her method. I tried it this week and was blown away.
Here’s what you do:
- Place sweaters in a mesh laundry bag and toss in the washing machine.
- Set the machine to the “delicates” cycle. Allow some water to fill the tub, but instead of using regular detergent, add a capful of this sweater shampoo to the water and allow the cycle to run.
- Once the cycle is finished, remove sweaters and lay flat to dry on top of towels.
Your sweaters will be clean and smell AMAZING.
TWO: Are you planning to watch the Super Bowl? We’re joining friends for a party, and I’m excited to see the half-time show and watch TS cheer on her man. But, I’m most excited about the food.
We’re doing a potluck, and I’m bringing this Crab Rangoon Dip from Damn Delicious because I’ve never met a crab rangoon I didn’t like. And, every recipe I’ve tried from DD is amazing.
THREE: Let’s talk lip gloss. I recently shared on IG Stories that I really like the new Posh Gloss by Victoria Beckham. She is so chic, and her makeup line is just lovely. At $32, it’s not outrageous for a luxury gloss.

But, if you really want a bargain, try NYX lip glosses—starting at only $5! This Butter Gloss is the perfect pop of pink.

I also really like the Fat Oil Slick Click Tinted Balm in Going Viral and Dm Me.

FOUR: Do you remember the show The Look for Less? I loved watching them find designer-inspired styles on a budget. I did my own version of that this week with these cute sandals.
I couldn’t resist the $45 pair. They’re the perfect neutral sandal for spring and summer. You can dress them up or down, and they come in a variety of colors.
That’s all I’ve got for today. See you tomorrow for The List—a post with links for all the products I’ve shared on Instagram over the last week.
