Love for J.Crew Jeans

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m heading out on a work trip today, so we had our traditional V-Day dinner last night, and I’ll surprise my teens with Valentine’s candy, chocolates, and cards before they leave for school today. As for my husband, we decided against V-Day gifts long ago, but I still got flowers and a box of my favorite chocolates.

And because we’re celebrating the day of love, I’m sharing my love for J.Crew jeans.

I really like skinny jeans, but as expected, styles change. These days call for boot cut, straight, and wide leg jeans, and I really needed an upgrade. While certain designer jeans are nice, I hate paying designer prices. Luckily, J.Crew makes great jeans that won’t break the bank.

All of these styles come in multiple washes, and many of them are currently on sale for under $100. J.Crew jeans generally fit true to size for me and are available in classic, petite, and tall versions.

For size reference, I’m 5’7” and usually wear a 26 in jeans and a small or extra-small in shirts. My regular 26 fits perfectly, but I would size down for the last pair.

If you want a more in-depth look at these, go watch my live try on session on IG Stories. If they’re not available, check my Highlights for “Try Ons.”

Let’s start with two cropped boot cut pairs. I love this updated take on traditional boot cut jeans. This pink shirt is also a new find. I love all things pink, and I like the oversized fit. I’m wearing an XS and recommend sizing down at least one size (two if you want a more classic fit).

Boot Cut (Ruby Wash) | Pink Shirt

I can’t say no to blue and white stripes, and this top is so fun with the scalloped ruffles and covered buttons. I’m wearing an XS. It’s also available in several solid colors.

Boot Cut (White Wash) | Blue & White Top

Next up, two pairs of straight leg jeans. These are the regular length, and they hit just above my ankle.

Straight Leg (White Wash)

Next up is a variation on the straight leg. This is a curvy straight leg style, which means it has a higher rise. I’ve had these for a while and really like the fit.

Curvy Straight Leg (Warm Surf)

Finally, these are a wide leg jean with a higher rise. I really like this look, but they’re a tad loose in the waist, and I’d prefer a smaller size.

Wide Leg (White)

I’ve also linked these styles in my LTK Shop. If you haven’t used LTK before, it is a great app that makes it easy to shop all of my finds, plus lots more. LTK was founded in Dallas by a woman, and I love supporting local female entrepreneurs!

So tell me, which jeans are your favorite?
