Valentine’s Day Gifts and Style

Welcome to February! I know Valentine’s Day is super commercialized, but I think it’s fun and will take every opportunity to celebrate the people I love.

My husband and I decided years ago that we would forgo the gifts in exchange for a nice dinner—cooked together at home (because an overpriced Valentine’s Day menu is not our idea of fun). Now that our kids are older, we have a family Valentine’s dinner, and I always get my daughters a little something special. My son could not care less, so he usually gets a card and his favorite candy.

If you’re up for celebrating, here are some gift ideas for the ladies (big and small) in your life.

ONE: My daughters and I love cozy pajamas, and I found these in Santa Barbara last week. The shorts alone would be a great gift, or you could splurge on the full set.

TWO: Who doesn’t love Dior lip oil? Raspberry is my favorite color, but there are so many good ones to choose from.

THREE: My daughters and I also love satin pajamas. This under $30 set can be mixed and matched and is available in several colors.

FOUR: Ignore the name (Orgasm) because this color is beautiful. I’ve worn the blush for years and always get compliments.

FIVE: You might have seen on Instagram, but my sister gave me this acrylic vase for my birthday. It is 24” long and makes it easy to create a beautiful arrangement.

SIX: I recently purchased these fuzzy slippers and love them. My daughters would probably like THESE.

SEVEN: These necklaces are super cute and simple. They come in gold, silver, and rose gold.

EIGHT: This personalized coin purse is from one of my favorite local shops for gifts. If you live in Dallas, you can use porch pick up to avoid shipping costs. Brooksie has so many great options—definitely take at look at her shop!

NINE: Another goodie from Brooksie. This pouch would be so cute filled with candy, art supplies, or nail polish.

TEN: I used to buy this non-toxic polish for my girls when they were tiny. This set comes with three polishes, plus nail art stickers. Now, my daughters really like these press-on nails, which come in many different colors, patterns, and sizes.

ELEVEN: I bought these tiny purses for my nieces (ages 4 and 5) for their birthdays, and they were a hit. Again, cute filled with small goodies.

In addition to gifts, I love Valentine’s colors—give me all the pink, red, and lavender. Just look at these beautiful pieces you can wear now and throughout the year. I can’t pick a favorite.
